Got Real Milk Series
The Got REAL Milk series highlights groundbreaking research on toxic metals in infant formula, exposing serious health risks for one of our most vulnerable populations: Babies. Our analysis has identified concerning levels of toxic and heavy metals, including aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury, in widely available formula brands, raising urgent questions about regulatory oversight and industry accountability.
Infants are particularly susceptible to these contaminants, as early exposure can lead to developmental delays, neurological damage, and long-term health consequences due to the fact babies have inefficient and impaired ability to detoxify. Babies are not mini-adults and have increased challenges clearing exposures to these toxic metals as compared to adults.
Through rigorous scientific investigation and public awareness efforts such as our podcast, The New MDS, our research underscores the necessity for stricter safety standards, increased transparency in manufacturing, and a broader discussion on the benefits of natural, minimally processed alternatives such as breast milk and rigorously tested dairy-based formulas. The Got REAL Milk initiative aims to empower consumers with the knowledge needed to make informed feeding choices while advocating for stronger protections against toxic exposures in infant nutrition.
