GMOScience Speaks on Behalf of our Children and Food Safety
Over the past two years, a citizen-led and independently funded initiative was established, The National Citizens Inquiry, to amplify the voices of ordinary Canadian citizens and document their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Operating outside of government influence, this initiative sought to understand the events that unfolded and develop recommendations to ensure that future crises are managed with minimal harm to the public.
The inquiry was structured by dedicated volunteers, featuring two main branches: An Administrative team to oversee operations and a panel of Commissioners responsible for conducting the inquiries and producing detailed reports.
This grassroots effort is notable for its independence and its role in rebuilding trust, which had been significantly eroded during the pandemic. By addressing the injuries and challenges faced by citizens that were overlooked by government responses, the initiative has become a powerful model of community-driven accountability and advocacy.
The effort has produced approximately 80,000 petition signatures, 365 witnesses, testimonies by 128 experts, occurring over 30 days. Thousands of views on social media channels have been noted.
GMOScience is a Proud Participant
It was an honor to participate in this remarkable initiative. Listening to the testimonies of teachers, healthcare practitioners, and Canadian citizens in Vancouver, Canada, was profoundly eye-opening. Our neighbors to the north demonstrate incredible resilience as they work to not only recover from a restrictive government-driven narrative, but also to drive meaningful, positive change. During the event, I had the privilege of speaking on food safety and children’s nutrition. Recordings of the powerful three days of testimony can be found here: https://nationalcitizensinquiry.ca/vancouver-testimony24/
The Commissioners final report can be downloaded here: https://nationalcitizensinquiry.ca/commissioners-report-downloads/.
Voices of Canadian Physicians
There were so many poignant testimonials from Canadian citizens and professions. I cannot say it better than Canadian physician, Dr. Byram Bridle, directed to Shawn Buckley, NCI Lead Council:
Dr. Byram Bridle:
I showed documentation from our public health agencies themselves to prove that they were deceitful, and they lied. And so, we have corrupt institutions. And what I contended when I went to the National Citizens Inquiry and testified is that children in Canada are absolutely not safe as long as our institutions like our public health agencies remain corrupt.
And so, what I appreciated as well, I spoke under oath. And I presented hard core evidence, the same kind of evidence that I present in courts of law when I serve as an expert witness. And so, what I love is that the National Citizens’ Inquiry is loaded with a team of lawyers, such as yours, who understand this, and it’s being documented with the rigor that one would get from lawyers operating in a court of law.
So, I do encourage people, there is an unbelievable amount of scientific objective. Transparent scientific data, information and testimonies. This will go well beyond science. It gets into journalism and legal issues, et cetera, et cetera, but it’s being documented by a team of lawyers. It is data that can be taken directly into courts of law.
So, people who are suffering issues and people who have, you know, legal issues to pursue, this is a strong resource for other lawyers. This is an incredible resource of information. And very importantly, I just want to finish, Shawn, with saying, you know, to me, the NCI, one of the things that’s very important that comes out of the NCI, when you look at the sum total of all the evidence from all of your witnesses, is that things like, you know, courts need to wake up.”
The courts in Canada need to wake up. Then they need to stop granting judicial notice to our institutions that are clearly and where we can objectively… show and definitively show with hardcore evidence that they are corrupt. Stop granting them judicial notice.
Let’s start giving a fair hearing to the public. Let’s start giving a fair hearing to everybody’s voice and let’s actually start making determinations and developing policies based on the evidence rather than avoiding the evidence.
